Dr. William Bartlow

In July of 1987, Dr. Bartlow entered private practice with Dr. Leo M. Hartz on South Washington Street until 1993. In 1993, Dr. Bartlow and Dr. Hartz opened Muncy Family Practice. Other positions Dr. Bartlow has held include as a team physician for two Little League World Series; 2 years as Vice President of the Muncy Valley Hospital medical staff, followed by 2 years as president of the staff; a member of the Board of Directors at the Muncy Valley Hospital for two years; a 6-year member on the Board of Directors of the Lycoming County Medical Society.
Dr. Bartlow has also worked as a part time physician at the State Correctional Institution at Muncy for six years; and was chairman of the following four Muncy Valley Hospital committees: Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee; Utilization Review of Medical Records Committee; Adult and Pediatrics Medicine Committee; and the Patient Safety Committee. He was a representative for Family Practice Chart Review at Muncy Valley Hospital and served on the Board of Directors of the Muncy Valley Health Care Foundation. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians; the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Lycoming County Medical Society.
Dr. Bartlow’s accomplishments and contributions are quite impressive, but not as impressive as the contributions he has made to the Muncy community.
