Scholarships
First Community Foundation Scholarships
The First Community Foundation (FCFP) houses 12 Lycoming County scholarships and 11 Muncy High School only scholarships. You may find the full list of Muncy High School scholarships here and the full list of Lycoming County scholarships here.
All FCFP scholarships are accessed through the application portal on their website. The first step is to create a Login which consists of an email address and a password of your own selection. Please use a personal email address (not your MHS email) that you check regularly. Once you have an account, you may begin filling out the common application. When you submit the application you may not be finished with the application process because many scholarships require supplemental questions, a specific essay, or letter of recommendation or transcript to be uploaded.
The most important two things in this process are: Read and follow all directions and check your email regularly. A good thing to know is that when you go to your dashboard (by clicking on the house icon at top of page), if you see a link that says “Edit” you are not yet complete with that scholarship. If you see “View Application” you are complete.

Christy Bussler Memorial Scholarship
Who: Muncy senior enlisting full time in the military

Girlz in the Hoodie Scholarship
Who: Female senior going on to college who has or had a mother/female guardian with breast cancer
Deadline: May 15, 2026

Business Management Scholarship
Who: Lycoming County senior attending Penn College, Penn State, or LHU for business/accounting. Must never have earned honor roll status during 9-12 grades

Carl Stotz Little League Scholarship
Who: One male and one female from the senior class will be selected by Little League. Must be in the top 25% in class rank – Top 18 Students currently

Patrick W. Stauffer Memorial Scholarship
Who: Muncy senior furthering their education in the medical/health sciences fields

Who: Muncy senior furthering their education in education or English/ journalism.

Who: Muncy senior furthering their education in criminal justice, engineering, or other service careers such as healthcare and education

Who: Muncy senior furthering their education in nursing (BSN or LPN)

Who: Muncy senior furthering their education in any major

Muncy Lodge 299 Masons Scholarship
Who: Senior with academic achievement (80% or higher), school and community involvement, and financial need

Road to Safety Scholarship
Who: Senior in Pennsylvania going to college in the fall
Deadline: April 15, 2026
How: This is a project-based competition scholarship that is completed online. Access full information here.
Mary Ann Fox Scholarship
Who: Scholarship opens February 2 , 2026 – Senior attending one of these schools: Bucknell, Lock Haven, Lycoming, Penn College, Penn State

First Commonwealth Bank College Scholarship
Who: Senior with a minimum 85% average who will graduate from certain counties, including Lycoming County.

Hardisky Memorial Trappers Association Scholarship
Who: Senior planning continue education beyond high school. An essay about trapping is required.

Who: Must be a member in good standing of PALCO Federal Credit Union for at least 6 months.
