The Muncy School District anticipates hiring a Title I Tutor or Title I Aide to assist the Title I coordinator in the operation of the district’s Title I Targeted Assistance Program.
Title I Tutor or Title I Aide (K-3) – The successful candidate for a Title I Tutor position must have a bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited college or university and a current and valid PA Elementary Education Certificate (PK-12; PK-4; or K-6) through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The successful candidate for a Title I Aide position must have two years of higher education or equivalent “highly qualified” certification. The position is funded through a grant and is only guaranteed through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. The continuation of the position beyond the 2026-2027 school year depends on the continuation of grant funding beyond the 2026-2027 school year. Hourly salary rate ($15 – $20 per hour) with sick leave and pension. The position does not include health insurance benefits.
