School from Home:
I have a daily activity log template on my webpage (within the monthly fitness challenge tab) for tracking purposes if you wish to use it. My goal is for the students to get at least 30-60 minutes of physical activity most days of the week, not just for physical education class, but for their overall health. You can use the suggestions or resources on my website or your child can choose how they would like to stay active. Once a week you can email me with the activity descriptions or you can send a photo of the activity or completed activity log. It is recommended that the students strive to stay active 5 out of 7 days. The focus is more that the students are staying active and healthy and that you are getting an opportunity to unwind and be active as a family during this difficult time. In addition, I am periodically posting optional health challenges on my webpage to encourage the students and your family to think about health in a variety of ways. This is a stressful time for students, parents, and families. It is important to make your physical, mental, and emotional health a priority. I challenge you to try something new as a family whether it is a new healthy recipe, a new workout, a new walking path etc. be creative and stay active!
